03.30.06 | Wish for Vado Diamonde's Speedy Recovery Vado Diamonde has danced since the age of four, mastering the over sixty different regional dance and drumming traditions of his native Ivory Coast, as well as other nearby West African countries. Several weeks ago Vado contracted a severe lung infection from being exposed to anthrax (b. anthracis) while making and repairing drums.
From a personal stand point I played for Vado's classes on occasion just to learn from him. Vado hand picked my djembe for me and always repaired it when necessary. So from myself and everyone in the Tenth World family we wish for Vado's speedy recovery.
For more info on Vado go to www.kotchegna.com
Loving friends of Vado's have set up a recovery donation fund for him.
